Kona Town Market A Must Visit For Residents And Visitors

Last night my family and I attended the Kona Town Market at Kona Brewery.  This is an event that showcases a lot of the local vendors in or around the Kona Brew Pub and local vendors.  This was the first time attending this event, though it was hot and a little humid it was a great event for Kona residents and visitors to come out and enjoy some live entertainment, local vendors, and local food vendors and restaurants.  There was a Keiki corner for the kids where you pay $10 wristbands and they had unlimited bouncing , face painting, free popcorn, games and a free dessert from Puna Chocolate which will be a featured vendor within the brewery block.

The beers they were selling, for every dollar would go to the Food Basket which was awesome to hear how the community is giving back.  And I’m always a supporter of supporting our local vendors so if there are any events that feature local vendors I always try to be there to support.  The foods were a little pricey but definitely feed the kids before you go as there were not any kid friendly foods that they wanna just eat real quick.  But for the adults, a wide range of different foods for your selection was available.  My husband and I ate at food truck called Magic’s Beach Grill which he ate the poke tacos and I ate their wings, both were really good and something different especially the poke tacos.

The entertainment was a variety of Hawaiian, local music and entertainment from Cirque Hale that put on a great aerial and fire show which my daughter and nieces enjoyed.  I recommend this event for everyone to attend when they have it.  Great way to meet people, see people you haven’t seen since high school or just co-workers outside of the workplace just enjoying themselves.
