Greetings to all lovers of Hawaii and the Big Island !  i bet many of you are wondering exactly what  is going on out here in the Pacific.  Please, let me be the first or maybe the second person to inform you that all is well on all the islands of Hawaii.  Now to be honest with everyone there is a crisis on the areas directly affected by the lava flow from the volcano.  600 homes in that area have been lost.  Please google Puna Disaster Relief to find out how you could help.  On all other parts of the Big Island it is pretty much business as usual.   Work and fun continue for most of our local residents.  Wondering about air quality ?  Good question !  Kona had seen a high air quality rating last week when the air was just not moving.  not a breath of wind does mean air stagnation.  But the " trade winds " are predominant here in this tropical Pacific location.  Blowing constantly in certain locations.  But of course, do your homework.  Study up on the affects of the volcano air quality in the area you will visit and/or care to live.  Kailua-Kona is buzzing with visitors from all of the world... as usual.  We just concluded a wonderful KIng Kameameamea day holiday with a wonderful parade through our downtown street right on the Pacific Ocean. There are plenty of activities both on land and of course in the sea.  Jumping pods of spinner dolphins are abound just out side our windows.  Want to know more ?  Contact me anytime... aAways glad to help.  Aloha !
